Skillet sono un gruppo hard rock statunitense, di cui oggi esce la canzone Sick of it, primo singolo che anticipa l’album Rise in uscita appunto il 25 giugno 2013.

Gli Skillet si sono formati nel 1996 e definire per loro un unico genere musicale è praticamente impossibile. Infatti hanno realizzato la bellezza di 8 album e la loro musica è definibile crossover, che varia dal Metal all’Alternative Rock.
Attualmente gli Skillet sono composti da: John Cooper (cantante principale e basso), Korey Cooper (chitarra e tastiera), Seth Morrison (chitarra), e Jen Ledger (batteria e vocalista di fondo).
